| This is a tentative schedule and will likely vary due to conditions that arise. Delays are expected so check with the registration numbers below to insure you are aware of the work being done on a given day. | |
| Before Feb 28 | Obtain map and lot corner information, finalize plans with site map, obtain building permit, get bids from various suppliers |
| Feb 28 - March 6 | Excavation, footings |
| March 7-13 | Cement walls completed, rough plumbing |
| March 13 | Dig and install drain tile and basin, coat / seal outer cement walls; install Styrofoam panels on outer basement walls. 1st volunteer group day. |
| March 18 | ... Continue |
| March 20 | Continue and finish above work and set sill seal and sill plate on foundation. Build floor system. Lay foam for basement floor and pour basement floor. Backfill to house. |
| March 21 - 27 | ... Continue |
| March 27 | Begin framing of walls , install electrical pedestal. |
| Apri 1 | Continue framing of walls and wrap house with OSB. |
| April 3 | Continue framing of walls – interior and exterior including bathroom support for Uniform dwelling code requirements (towel bars, handrail grab-bars bracing, etc.), set showers in place, install treated rim board plate under patio door or rear entrance door if needed. |
| April 8 | Finish framing lower level. Catch up with earlier tasks and possibly begin Styrofoam on main level. |
| April 10 | Set trusses and osb on roof. Fascia board. Complete gable ends and truss bracing. Roof possibly to be vented and shingled by others. Roof shingled. Place foam on main level sidewalls, tape seams |
| April 15 | Electrical wiring and boxes – rough wiring done by electrical volunteers. Heating and AC duct work done by subcontractor. Continuation of plumbing on both levels. |
| April 17 | Tape off windows, sofit and fascia installation house and garage. Build front porch. Begin insulation of sidewalls on both levels and finish any above work not finished. Continue outside vinyl siding on house and garage. |
| April 22 | FIRST ENERGY STAR INSPECTION |
| April 22 | Continue above. Seal all electrical opening with "Great Stuff" |
| April 24 | Finish insulation, visqueen interior and continue exterior siding. Start stain & varnish trim and doors. |
| April 29 | SECOND ENERGY STAR INSPECTION |
| May 1 | Make up day of above. |
| May 6 | ... Continue above. |
| May 8 | Continue sheet rock on ceiling and begin wall sheet rock installation. Continue with exterior siding. |
| May 13 | continue sheetrock installation, taping and mudding - donation from subcontractors for this, continue with exterior siding. |
| May 15 | Catch up week to finish any of the above work not completed. |
| May 20 | Landscaping, driveway, sidewalks. |
| May 22 | Finish Drywall, install attic access door. |
| May 27 | Begin prime and painting of walls on both levels. Install tile in bathrooms. Vinyl siding, sofit and fascia or possibly done earlier. |
| May 29 | Blow in attic insulation by volunteers. Holiday Weekend |
| June 3 | Continue painting walls and ceilings, install tile and / or vinyl flooring in bathrooms and set toilets, final excavating and concrete work for curb, walks and driveway, and continue on above tasks that are not completed. |
| June 5 | Finish painting, set bathroom cabinets, sinks, set kitchen vinyl flooring and kitchen cabinets, final landscaping and planting of grass, trees and shrubs and continue on tasks not completed. Landscaping may be done earlier. |
| June 10 | Finish kitchen cabinets, hang interior doors, trim base, doors and windows, finish closets with shelving and doors and continue with above tasks not completed. |
| June 12 | Finish above work and clean construction debris, prepare floors for carpeting, and continue with tasks above not completed. |
| June 13 | Flooring installed. |
| June 19 | FINAL ENERGY STAR INSPECTION |
| June 19 | Make up week for schedule adjustment and final punch list completion. |
| June ? | Dedication date to be announced. |
