Current NeedsWarehouse VolunteersWe are looking for volunteers and an overall coordinator to help organize the Habitat warehouse in Prairie du Sac to prepare it for regular sales next spring. The warehouse contains donated materials from area businesses and contractors, as well as deconstructions Habitat has done. These materials are used on Habitat builds and sold to the public to raise money for future builds. If you've ever wanted to work in a hardware store or like to tinker with stuff, here's your chance! If you own a lot and are willing to either donate it or sell it for a reasonable price to Habitat, please contact Craig Karr at (608) 493-9482 (karrlee@merr.com). We are looking for lots with a maximum cost of $20,000, and prefer lots with existing utilities. If you donate or sell your lot to Habitat at a reduced price, you may be eligible for a tax deduction.
